The Fritx-XThe Frit-X was created based off the designs of the engineer named Max Kramer. This is one of the first radio guided anti-ship glide missile. The weapon was meant to be used against heavily reinforced ships such as cruisers, battleships and Carriers. Its design was made so that it was more stable as it reached its targets, its creator was recruited to the Luftwaffe to help further the project.

CapabilitiesIt was fitted with a Kehl-Strasbourg radio control link, which helped the operator control the flight of the missile. It also had a flare on the fin so that it could be seen from the bomber. It has a fin with a spoiler based control setup, which read the transmissions from the control.
